Eastland Generation Community Fund
Our Community Fund distributes grants to individuals and groups who are making a real difference to their local environment or wider community.
Each year, we have a total fund of $10,000 available.
The fund is open to applicants from the Eastern Bay of Plenty, Tairāwhiti and Wairoa – all the places where we operate renewable energy plants.

Engineering and science scholarships
The renewable energy stars of tomorrow have the opportunity to gain invaluable financial support today, with our annual scholarships.
Every year, we offer a $5,000 scholarship to an engineering or science student from the Eastern Bay of Plenty, Tairāwhiti or Wairoa.
Applications open in late September.
Summer internships
As part of our scholarship programme, we may also offer a paid internship over summer, based at our geothermal power stations in Kawerau.
